Our Pastoral Team

Allow us to introduce our pastoral staff to you. They have been called to provide spiritual leadership and to equip people for ministry here at Bakerview Church.

Michael Dick - Lead Pastor
As a gifted leader, Michael has previously served on the pastoral staff of two churches, led a denominational publishing ministry, and held positions on various ministry boards. As the Lead Pastor here at Bakerview Church, Michael oversees the ministry of our pastoral team, guides the preaching/teaching of the church, and serves with our Church Council in the development of the vision of our church.

Ray Harris - Associate Pastor
In his role as Associate Pastor at Bakerview Church, Ray is involved in both preaching and worship leadership in our services. The area of Pastoral Care brings Ray great joy and satisfaction; he oversees Care Groups, Deacons, Visitation, and Adult Education Ministries for our church family.

Peter Laurie - Associate Pastor: Church Ministries
Peter, a grandfather of seven, has had the joy of serving in various facets of church ministry; from junior high through adult ministries in different locations throughout Canada and the U.S. In his current assignment, Peter serves in our outreach, missions, pre-marriage, marriage enrichment, and various other church ministries.

Shannon Storey - Interim Youth Director
Shannon works with both the Junior and Senior Youth Ministries and oversees the Young Adults ministries.

Carmen Neufeld - Associate Pastor: Children's Ministries
For more than a decade, Carmen has had the pleasure of working with children in a variety of different settings. As the Pastor of Children's Ministries here at Bakerview Church, Carmen partners with families to provide children with a Christian education that strives to bring children into a closer relationship with Jesus.

Dianne Bowker - Associate Pastor: Worship Ministries, Liturgical Service
Dianne works with the committee responsible for planning and leading our Liturgical Worship Service that meets at 11:15 am Sunday mornings in the multipurpose centre.

Jason Harris - Associate Pastor: Worship Ministries, Contemporary Service
Originally from Australia, Jason has been leading worship in Canada since he moved here in 1993. As one of the worship pastors at Bakerview Church, Jason provides leadership to our Contemporary Worship Service ministry teams.

Linda Funk - Administrator
Linda joined our team here at Bakerview in October of 2001, following several years of ministry in the finance department at Columbia Bible College. By partnering together with our Board of Management and Board of Finance, Linda provides leadership and oversight to Bakerview facilities and finances, as well as our office and janitorial staff.
