Christianity Explored
Christianity Explored helps people answer three questions that cut to the heart of Christianity:
- Who is Jesus?
- Why did He come?
- What does He demand of those who follow Him?
By focusing on Mark's Gospel, Christianity Explored aims to return people to the magnetic yet challenging gospel of Jesus Christ. This course, hosted by Bakerview Church, is conducted in various locations and times around the community in private homes with the aid of our Care Group ministry and in activity rooms and amenity buildings in the strata complexes with the aid of individuals and couples.
Christmas Dessert Fellowship
For two evenings, Bakerview hosts a dessert time which features Christmas entertainment (Choirs, solo artists) and special speakers. It is an event when we can celebrate Christmas with friends and neighbors.
Love Abbotsford
Each year on the second Saturday of June, the larger Christian community in Abbotsford co-ordinates an event when each congregation creatively finds ways to serve the community. Bakerview Church reaches out to neighbors by stepping out with acts of kindness to show God's love in a practical way.
Open Door
The objective of Open Door is to provide care and suppport for single mothers of preschool children.
